5 things I love about living in Moonah

View of Moonah from Highfield Street, Moonah by Vanessa Pike-Russell

1. A 60 year old walnut tree is my backyard feature. I love watching the cockatoos swooping down from the sky to pick at its nuts. A hammock hangs from its thickest limbs and it’s a cool sanctuary on a warm day.

2. Weekdays there are buses into the CBD every 10 minutes and I’m just a few minutes from the bus stop.

3. The Chinese Emporium, Miss Katt’s Kustom House and Woolies are all in walking distance.

4. My outlook is Mount Direction and the district’s fairy lights.
5. It’s quiet here.

What do you like about where you live?
